Mahabodhi Mahavidyalaya (B.Ed) Nalanda is an autonomous part of Mahabodhi Mahavidyalaya, Nalanda . That was established in 1978 by intellectual, social person of Nalanda. Nalanda the land of Lord Buddha at Mahaveer is situated about 90K.M south from patna Bettween Bihar Sharif And Rajgir. Rajgir & Nalanda is also famous as a tourist Place in all over  world

Mahabodhi Mahavidyalaya (B.Ed) Nalanda is managed by the society Mahabodhi Educational & social welfare sansthan, Nalanda. The mission of the society to develop Mahabodhi Mahavidyalaya, Nalanda as a hub of education.

The establishment of Mahabodhi Mahavidyalaya, Nalanda is the dream and Vision of shree Sharwam Kumar Chairperson of Mahabodhi Educational & social welfare sansthan, Nalanda. He wants for the growth and prosperity of the society to give well education in the people of Nalanda & Bihar. His dream and vision is well projected and estimated by Dr. Arvind kumar, Secretary of Mahabodhi Educational & social welfare sansthan, Nalanda. Late Shiv Nandan Prasad keshari founder of Mahabodhi Mahavidyalaya, Nalanda took part is good role in establishment of this Institution. Now a day he was no was more but we are obviously obliged for his contribution.

Affiliation & Recognisation

The college is duly recognized by NCTE, Eastern Regional Centre at Bhubaneshwar, Orissa. It is also affiliated Patliputra University, Patna After bifurcation of Magadh University, Bodh Gaya & Bihar School Examination Board. The college follows the syllabus of Patliputra University, Patna and added a few classes for personality development for the benefit of the students.

Aims & Objectives

The college aims at an integral and personalized training of young men and women through Integral Pedagogy-Context, Experience, reflection, Action and Evaluation to be well-motivated teachers who will be intellectually competent, morally upright, socially committed and spiritually inspired.

It is the aim of Mahabodhi Mahavidyalaya (B.Ed) that the students who take their training here become well formed guides who will accompany the young learner on his or her journey of becoming a fully human person. The college, therefore, offers an all-round training, one that is at once intellectual, cultural, social, emotional, physical, aesthetic, moral and Spiritual. The college further aims at promoting values such as respect for common Indian cultural heritage, egalitarianism, democracy, secularism, equality of sexes, protection of environment, removal of barriers, responsible use of cybernetics and mass media, transparency and probity in private and public life, observance of small family norms, national unity, and respect for religious and moral values.
